The White Roof Project team is looking forward to winter and getting ready to start some great new initiatives next year! 2011 was the rainiest summer of all time here in NYC, but it was also one of the hottest summers we can remember! White Roof Project received wonderful press from around the globe for painting thousands of square feet of rooftop white with the help of our many partners and sponsors. Plus, we raised White Roof awareness through our social media campaigns (twitter, facebook)!
In 2012, we’ll continue to fund the coating of low-income and nonprofit rooftops; and we’ll expand our initiative to help people do it themselves. Next year is going to be a big growth year for WRP. We need your help!
No paper tickets are needed. There will be a list at the door (saving the environment in any way we can)!
