Sponsored by Allied Building Products

Allied Building Products Corp. was established in Jersey City, NJ in 1950 as a family-operated roofing and custom sheet metal fabrication business. Our territory was the New York / New Jersey metropolitan area with just five employees, two small trucks, 700 square feet of office space, 5,000 square feet of warehouse space and a burning desire to build for the future.

Through strong commitment to both the customers and manufacturers, we developed relationships to ultimately become one of the largest and most successful distributors in the building materials industry. Over the years we expanded our product offering, reached out to new customers, and have increased our footprint through strategic acquisitions.

Sponsored by Building Power, LLC

Building Power, LLC, is a trusted advisor for its clients in helping them manage their roof assets, nationwide. The principles of Building Power Bill and Maryella Pegnato have over 50 years combined experience in commercial roof life extension (This includes inspections, maintenance, repair and restoration). Our number one goal is to turn your roof from a liability into an asset. We start with helping you maintain a leak free environment, we then move to solutions that reduce energy use in the building and ultimately, where it makes sense, use the roof as a platform for renewable energy (solar).

It starts with one building and one inspection but the power of the program is to have information about your entire portfolio at your finger tips so you can make responsible financial decisions facilitating an effective budgeting process.

This is not about spending more money to “be green” but proactively managing the roof top spend to increase life expectancy, energy performance and realize expense reduction for the building owner. This is what “sustainability” should be all about.
